Install Webmin in CentOS 6.3

 

 

1. login as 'root' to your CentOS 6 instillation

2. create a file called "webmin.repo" at "/etc/yum.repos.d"

3. to the "webmin.repo" file add:

[Webmin]
name=Webmin Distribution Neutral
#baseurl=http://download.webmin.com/download/yum
mirrorlist=http://download.webmin.com/download/yum/mirrorlist
enabled=1

4. as root from the "konsole" type:

wget http://www.webmin.com/jcameron-key.asc
rpm --import jcameron-key.asc

5. goto "System-->Administration-->Add/Remove Software"

6. Type "webmin" in the find field and click find.

7. put a check in the  webmin-x.xxx-x box

8. Click Apply

9. now login by going to "http://localhost:10000"

your done!
